Arrangements are pending at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua.

Betty Jane COSGROVE

Betty Jane COSGROVE, 54, of Ottumwa, died Wednesday Dec. 26, 2012, at the Ottumwa Regional Health Center.

A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua, with the Rev. Olen D. Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery in rural Keosauqua.

Visitation with the family present will be 2 - 4 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Memorials to the family may be left at the funeral home or mailed to the family at 821 North Elm St., Ottumwa 52501.

Ms. COSGROVE was born Jan. 9, 1958 in Ottumwa, the daughter of Leo and Anna Elizabeth COLE MILLER. She married Gene HECKETHORN. They divorced. She later married Paul COSGROVE.

Ms. COSGROVE was a certified nurse's aide at the Good Samaritan Center, Ottumwa Manor, and also worked at Hormel, all in Ottumwa.

Survivors include her husband; her mother; a daughter, Patty HECKETHORN; a son, Shane HECKETHORN; two brothers, Jack MILLER of Washington, and Harold MILLER of Ottumwa; two step-brothers, David and Thomas LAUMEYER both of Ottumwa, three stepsisters, Betty SMITH of Fremont, Martha SCHARFF and Nancy LAUMEYER both of Ottumwa; and two grandchildren, Jacob and Jade HECKETHORN both of Ottumwa.

She was preceded in death by her father; her stepfather, Lawrence LAUMEYER; four brothers, Allen, Donald, Chuck and Melvin MILLER; and a sister, Patty MILLER.
