Sharon L. POGEMILLER

Sharon L. POGEMILLER, 73, of Omaha, Neb., died Thursday, Dec. 27, 2012, at Bergon Mercy Hospital in Omaha.

A memorial service is at 10 a.m. Monday at Roeder Mortuary Chapel in Omaha.

A private family interment will be at a later date in Fairfield.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the POGEMILLER family, and left at or mailed to the funeral home, 2727 N. 108th St., Omaha, NE 68164.

Mrs. POGEMILLER was born Oct. 22, 1939, in Grinnell, the daughter of Jim and Vel HUGHES. She married Jim POGEMILLER July 12, 1982, in the Little Brown Church in the Valley.

She raised her family in Grinnell.

She worked at McNally's Food Store, Hy-Vee Food Store and Enterprise Bank.

She enjoyed baking.

Survivors include her husband Jim "Poge" POGEMILLER of Omaha; three sons, Dennis HUGHES and spouse Connie of colorado Springs, Colo., Rick SCULL and spouse Rita of Scottsburg, Ind., and Doug POGEMILLER; two daughters, Michelle HETRICK of Omaha, and Jackie GREENFIELD and spouse Wes; 23 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Debbie MAIRET and one brother, Larry HUGHES.
