Clara LIGGETT

Clara Liggett, 87, of Parkview Care Center, died at 1:32 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 27, 1994, at Jefferson County Hospital.

The service will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at First Lutheran Church with the Rev. John Meyer officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be open at Behner Funeral Home starting Wednesday. Memorials have been established to First Lutheran Church Memorial Fund, Handicap Access Fund and Radio Fund.

Mrs. LIGGETT was born Nov. 6, 1906, in Fairfield, the daughter of Henry August and Amelia WOMELSDORF BERG. She married Theodore Lowell LIGGETT on Dec. 1, 1936, in Lockridge. He died Nov. 16, 1984. A homemaker, she lived her life in Fairfield, Lockridge and Libertyville. She was a member of First Lutheran Church.

She is survived by nieces and nephews. Five brothers, Harold, Frank, Charlie, Roy and her twin, Clarence, preceded her in death.
