Wanda Fern BREWINGTON, 91, of Fairfield, died Saturday Dec. 15, 2012, at Parkview Care Center in Fairfield.
A funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Calvary Baptist Church in Batavia with the Rev. Dave Albert officiating. Burial will be in Batavia Cemetery.
Visitation for family and friends will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield.
Memorials may be made to the church or to Hospice Compassus. Cards and memorials can be sent to P.O. Box 55, Batavia 52533.
Ms. BREWINGTON was born May 21, 1921 in Rubio, the daughter of Oscar Leonard and Carrie Evedora GONDER MOURER. She married George Frederick BREWINGTON Nov. 30, 1936 in Agency. He died June 16, 1980.
Ms. BREWINGTON was a lifelong resident of Batavia.
She was a housewife and sold Tupperware and Stanley products.
She enjoyed gardening and loved Quilting.
Survivors include six children, Arlene L. DAVISON of Batavia, G. Joan BARNETT and spouse Earl of Kings Cove, Ala., John E. BREWINGTON of Batavia, Kenneth A. BREWINGTON and spouse Gaylin of Merrill, Wis., Richard A. BREWINGTON and spouse Becky of Walcott, and Alice M. BREWINGTON DYER and spouse Chuck of Hemiston, Ore.; one brother, Boyd MOURER of Agency; one sister, Thelma AMES of Menifee, Calif.; 21 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and 13 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Rex Boyd BREWINGTON; one daughter, Ruth Ann BREWINGTON; four sisters: Donna MOURER, Mirthel MOURER, Alice KELTCH and Jeannette COURTNEY; and one brother, Willard MOURER.
