Charles KELLER Jr., 73, 505 E. Kirkwood Ave., died at 5:25 p.m. Saturday, April 23, 1994, at Veterans Administration Medical Center in Knoxville.
The service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church with the Rev. John D. Boatman officiating. Burial with military rites will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Family visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Behner Funeral Home. A memorial has been established to First Baptist Church.
KELLER was born Oct. 29, 1920, in Fairfield, the son of Charles Theodore and Mabel Edith NOTT KELLER. He married C. Loretta ZACHMEYER on Sept. 1, 1950, at First Baptist Church in Fairfield. A resident of the Fairfield community all his life, he was employed in the maintenance department of Jefferson County Hospital for 11 years before his retirement. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, a member of American Legion Post 47 and the First Baptist Church.
Suriving are his wife; three sons, Stephen of Wellman, Robert P. of Fairfield, Kerry L. of Overland Park, Kan.; a daughter, Donna LANTZ of Des Moines; three grandchildren; six stepgrandchildren; two sisters, Mildred HARRISON of Fairfield and Edith FROST of Kent, Wash. His parents and a brother, Howard, preceded him in death.
