Son Killed In Auto Accident

Word has been received here of the death of Steve SMITH, about 30, son of Frankie SMITH of Los Angles, Calif., former Fairfield, resident.

Frankie is the brother of LeRoy SMITH, Route 3, and the late William "Trudy" SMITH.

Steve was killed on Jan. 14 about 12:30 a.m., when his car skidded on a wet road and went out of control hitting a fire hydrant and pole. Funeral services were held Saturday, Jan. 20. He is also survived by one child, his parents and four brothers and sisters.
