LOCKRIDGE--Death has again called one of our old citizens. This time the summons came to Geo. HANSON, one of Jefferson County's pioneer settlers. Mr. HANSON was born in Yorkshire, Eng., June 6, 1816, and came to Jefferson County in 1846 and has since resided here. He was a woolen manufacturer and ran a woolen mill on Brush Creek for a number of years. In 1871 Mr. HANSON was married to Caroline NELSON, who, with four children, Albert, John, Ida and Laura, mourn his loss.....Funeral Sunday February 21st, conducted by Rev. S. T. Horton. The remains were interred in the Lockridge cemetery.
