Page 6FOURTH QUARTER IN OUR HISTORY.....George RIZOR died near Glendale Dec. 6 aged 63. Mr. RIZOR was born in the old log house now standing in Old Settlers Park. When a boy he was a pupil in the Heaton's school.

Page 1, Column 3GEORGE W. RIZOR DIES AT GLENDALE
Life Long Resident of Jefferson County Succumbs to Stroke of Apoplexy
George RIZOR died yesterday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at his home east of Glendale following a stroke of apoplexy last Saturday. Altho (sic) he has not been in the best of health for some months, nothing serious developed until then, from which time he never regained consciousness.
Mr. RIZOR was born in Jefferson county, Sept. 24th, 1858 and has lived in this locality his entire life, highly respected by all.
He is survived by his wife and seven children, Mrs. C. E. DOUBLE of Lincoln, Neb.; Roy of Ottumwa, Bert of Fairfield and Carl, Bernard, Ethel and Hazel of Glendale.
The funeral will take place tomorrow, leaving the home at 1:30 with services at the Lockridge Baptist church at 2:00 o'clock (sic).
