Bertha PACHA Rites Monday

EAST PLEASANT PLAIN - Bertha PACHA, 80, died Friday at 6:15 p.m. at the Jefferson County Hospital where she had been a patient for two days.

Miss PACHA spent her entire life in the Brighton-East Pleasant Plain area. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and served as organist there for 50 years before her health failed.

Services will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Church with Father Francis Bass officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. The Rosary will be recited Sunday at 4 p.m. at the Gould Funeral Home in Brighton.

Miss PACHA was born Nov. 25, 1892 at Pleasant Plain, the daughter of Jacob and Barbara BENDA PACHA.

Surviving are two sisters: Catherine PACHA, with whom she made her home; and Mrs. Christine ANDERLIK, Iowa City. She was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.

Admin. note: Bertha and Albert Jacob FRITZ were married in East Pleasant Plain on May 22, 1916. Albert died in Excelsior Springs, MO, in 1942.
