GLENDALE--Selah STEADWELL (sic - STEDWELL), an old settler, died March 2d; if he had lived until the next day he would have completed his eighty-first year; he had been almost blind for nearly twenty years; his birthplace was in New York State. Rev. S. T. Horton preached the funeral at the Coalport church to a large congregation. His daughter Mrs. NEISWANGER of Washington county arrived in time to attend the funeral, but Mrs. ANDERSON of Nebraska did not get here until afterwards.
