Theresa Marie SKIRVIN

Last rites for Theresa Marie SKIRVIN, 39, will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Weston Behner Funeral Home with the Rev. George Koch officiating. Burial will be in Everegreen (sic) Cemetery.

Theresa Marie SKIRVIN was born April 30, 1933 and spent most of her life in the Fairfield Community. She was married to Leonard SKIRVIN who survives.

She is also survived by five children: Mary Alice, Keokuk; Cynthia Louise, Lucas Joseph, Theresa Christine and Mickey Thomas, all of Fairfield.

Also one grandchild; her mother, Mrs. Edith ESTES, Fairfield; one brother, Everett KELLEY, Fairfield; one sister, Mrs. Jack COOK, Fairfield. She was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.

Note: Buried in Evergreen Cemetery, Fairfield, in Lot 1st.069. A cemetery reading done in the early 1990s noted Theresa's maiden name as KELLEY with a marriage to Mickey RYAN before marrying Leonard SKIRVIN. This is incorrect; Theresa's mother Edith was married several times and Mickey is a sibling to Theresa, not a spouse, even though Theresa and Mickey are buried beside each other.
