MORE services at Packwood

PACKWOOD -- Alberta Marie NEFF MORE, 68, Unionville, died at 12:45 a.m. today at the Ottumwa Hospital. She was a former resident of Packwood.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Packwood Christian Church with the Rev. Doug Lofton officiating. Burial will be in the Packwood Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield. Memorials may be made to the Diabetes Association.

Alberta Marie NEFF MORE was born Oct. 26, 1914, in Jefferson County. She was the daughter of Albert L. and Nora Marie CARNAGEY NELSON.

She was married to Ralph NEFF in January, 1936. He died Oct. 9, 1957. Her marriage to Sam MORE took place in May, 1971, in Ottumwa. He survives.

Other survivors include a son, Franklin E. NEFF, Packwood; one grandson and two brothers, Roy and Cecil NELSON both of Fairfield.

Mrs. MORE was employed for a number of years at the Fairfield Laundry and Parsons College in Fairfield and the Good Samaritan Home in Ottumwa. She was a member of the Packwood Christian Church and lived all of her life in the Packwood Community except the past 12 years.
