Danny HICKENBOTTOM dies

Danny D. HICKENBOTTOM, 33, of Houston, Texas, died at 3:15 a.m. Monday at the DEL-ORO Medical Center in Houston, where he had been a patient for 11 days.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Behner Funeral Home with the Rev. Beryl Cragg officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery. Masonic rites will be held at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with family visitation following. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.

HICKENBOTTOM was born April 12, 1950 in Jefferson County, the son of Curtis and Margaret KELLER HICKENBOTTOM.

Surviving are his mother of Humble, Texas; a brother, Edwin and a sister, Connie CARR, both of Houston. He was preceded in death by his father.

The family moved from Fairfield to Kirksville, Mo., in 1959. Danny graduated from Kirksville High School in 1968 and attended Northeast Missouri State University. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving with the U. S. Army and was a member of Adair Masonic Lodge 366. He had worked for the Moore Paper Forms in Champaign, Ill., before moving to Houston to work as an account executive for Trinity Forms Company.
