Page 7, Column 7WALTER SHUPPY DIED MONDAY AT WASHINGTON.
Walter SHUPPY, 49, well known farmer living four miles southeast of Brighton, passed away at 7:30 last evening in the Washington County Hospital. Born Nov. 4, 1891 near Merrimac, the son of Henry and Anna Schmidline (sic - SCHMIDTLEIN) SHUPPY. His entire life had been spent on farms in Walnut township. He was married to Miss Mabel LAMANSKY on Jan. 27, 1915. Survived by wife and three children, Ruth, Leonard and Richard, all at home. Seven brothers and sisters survive: Ross SHUPPY and Frank SHUPPY of Lockridge, George SHUPPY of Peoria,, Ill., Charles SHUPPY of Oakland, Ill., Mrs. Lulu NORTON of Keokuk, Mrs. W. C. CLARK and Mrs. Frank NELSON of Fairfield. His parents and one brother, Clarence, preceded him in death several years ago and are buried in Lockridge cemetery.
