The Fairfield Tribune, May 10, 1905. ANOTHER PIONEER GONE. Perrymore Troxell came to Jefferson county in 1840 and died May 4, 1905 at Chariton IA. The remains were brought to Fairfield and interred in Evergreen Cemetery. Born in Breckenridge county KY, Jan. 3, 1819. When four years of age, family emigrated to IL. He was married in Jefferson county in 1845 to Anna J. Martin. Ten children: five survive the father. The mother died in Aug. 1875. He emigrated to Chariton IA in 1878.
