Death of John WINSELL.

At the residence of his daughter in Wauneta, Kansas, Sept. 12, 1892, John WINSELL, of Des Moines township, Jefferson county, Iowa. Deceased was born in Loudon county Tenn., March 8th, 1815. In childhood with his parents he moved to Madison county, Indiana, and in the fall of 1837 he came to Iowa and settled in Jefferson county, where he made his home until his death. He was married to Miss Charlotte NOGGLE in Van Buren county, Iowa, May 21st, 1840. To them were born ten children, six sons and four daughters. Of these two daughters and four sons survive him; also thirteen grandchildren, three brothers and one sister. For about fifty years he was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church, and lived a consistent christian life. His remains were brought to Iowa for burial and the funeral took place from the home Sept. 14th, Rev. G. W. Barber, of Selma, conducting the service.
