POLLY SMITH DIES AT HOME OF SON TODAY.

Funeral services at Lockridge Baptist Church Monday at 2 P.M. Mrs. Polly SMITH, 85, passed away at the home of her son, James B. SMITH, six miles northeast of Lockridge at 2:30 a.m. today..... Interment will be in the Lockridge cemetery..... Mrs. SMITH was born March 19, 1852, in Iowa. For the past 24 years she has made her home with her son, James B., who survives her, as do two other children, Mrs. Laurence ALLENDER of Lockridge and W. H. SMITH of Ottumwa. Surviving also are 24 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren. Her husband, Jacob SMITH, preceded her in death 23 years ago (sic - 24 years ago, in 1913).
