Linda E. KOPSIEKER

Linda E. KOPSIEKER "Miss K.", 69, formerly of Ollie, died Monday, Oct. 22, 2012, at the Henry County Health Center Emergency Room in Mount Pleasant.

A memorial service is at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Prairie View United Methodist Church with the Rev. Gary Smith officiating. Burial wil be at a later date.

Visitation for family and friends is from 5 - 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield.

Memorials may be made to the KOPSIEKER family. Cards and memorials can be sent to 33421 250th Ave. Ollie 52576.

Ms. KOPSIEKER was born Dec. 31, 1942 in Ottumwa, the daughter of Howard Caswell and Jessie "Opal" McSPAREN KOPSIEKER.

Ms. KOPSIEKER was a teacher in Stanton, Mo., Ottumwa and in Fairfield. She taught in special education at Fairfield Middle School from 1979 to 2001.

She enjoyed teaching, playing pool, reading, playing cards, traveling and spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include one son, Ken KOPSIEKER and wife Vonda of Ollie; one sister-in-law, Joyce KOPSIEKER of Ollie; one grandson; and two step-granddaughters.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, John KOPSIEKER.
