L. LARSON Dies At 72

Leslie Howard LARSON, 72, 303 S. Third, died at 7 a.m. today, Monday, at the Jefferson County Hospital where he had been admitted Sunday.

Private family services will be conducted by the Rev. Keith Lingwall and interment will be in the Salina Cemetery. Arrangements are in charge of the Raymond Funeral Home.

Leslie Howard LARSON was born Jan. 8, 1905, the son of Alfred and Selma JOHNSON LARSON. He was reared and educated in the Salina and Fairfield communities. He graduated from the Fairfield High School and Parsons College. His marriage to Hazel PALMQUIST took place in 1930.

He was a member of the former Salina Lutheran Church, and a member of the American Legion and a military veteran. LARSON was employed at the Minneapolis-Moline Company in Moline, Ill., for 36 years until his retirement in 1962 at which time he moved to Fairfield.

Survivors include a son, Curtis H. LARSON, Warsaw, N.Y.; five grandchildren and a sister, Edith LARSON, Fairfield. He was preceded in death by a brother.
