M. PARDUN Dies At 69

BATAVIA - Marion (Bud) PARDUN, 69, died Wednesday, 1 p.m., at his home in Batavia.

He was born Nov. 16, 1908, in Fairfield, the son of Chester and Francis GOODRIDGE PARDUN. He lived in Batavia most of his life.

PARDUN was employed at the Daily Ledger in Fairfield for over 20 years. He began working at the Ledger in 1952 and retired in 1973.

He was a member of the Christian Church and served with the U.S. Army Air Force during World War II.

Surviving are two sisters, Beatrice COX and Masie MILLHOUSE, both of Batavia.

Services will be Saturday 1:30 p.m., at Campbell Funeral Chapel in Batavia with the Rev. Kermit Black officiating. Burial will be in Batavia Cemetery.
