For the next 5 years, she taught at Vega School-southeast of Lockridge, the North Lebanon School and finished her teaching career in Birmingham in 1945.

Later in 1945, Frankie married Guylan "Bud" BEATTY and began her clerical career as a bookkeeper and receptionist and then, prior to her first retirement, was office assistant at Production Credit Association for 15 years. The next 10 years she worked part time at Young Monument and Harwood Insurance.

On November 3, 2006, Frankie married the love of her life, Rich SCHAUB and they lived very happily in their little cottage on South 2nd Street. He survives along with cousins and many friends.
