WATERS, WAGGONER, WARD, QUACKENBUSH, MORGAN, PRENGER

“Washington, Iowa. -- Final rites were held this morning at 10 o’clock at the Jones Funeral Home in Washington for Ban Waters, 89, who died Fri. night in the Washington County hospital. Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Roy Waggoner of Fairfield, R.1. Ban Waters was born in Washington County, son of Thomas and Jenny McVoy (?) Waters. He was married to Lily Mae Ward of Richland who died in 1909. His second wife, Reva Quackenbush, died May 1965. Other survivors include a son, Merle Waters of Ohio and four grandchildren including Mrs. Paul Morgan and Mrs. Hilbert Prenger of Richland; 13 greatgrandchildren and 8 greatgreatgrandchildren…..Burial was in the McDowell Cemetery southeast of Richland.”
