“Rosella Gowey Spalding, resident of Veo vicinity, died Sat. evening at Jefferson County Hospital. Member Methodist Church. Bur. McDowell Cemetery. Daughter of Rolland and Fanny Sharpe Gowey, born Dec 11 1859 five miles northwest of Brighton; married Oct 7 1879 to Oberlin C. Spalding who died in 1928. Survivors.”
