E. EDWARDS Dies At 44

Brighton - Esther R. EDWARDS, 44, Brighton, died enroute to the hospital Saturday night after suffering an acute coronary.

She was suddenly stricken about 11:15 and was being rushed to the Washington County Hospital at Washington.

Services well (sp: will) be Tuesday, Feb. 15, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in East Pleasant Plain with the Rev. Louis Leonhardt officiating. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.

The Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. this evening, Monday, at the Gould Funeral Home in Brighton.

Esther R. EDWARDS was born March 22, 1932, the daughter of Roy J. and Kasylka (sic - Kasylda) PECK LAMANSKY. She was married to Norman "Eddie" EDWARDS June 1, 1954.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by four sisters, Mrs. Roger ARNOLD, Brighton; Mrs. Rosalie FARRIER, Ottumwa; Mrs. George DAVISON, Andalusia, Ill.; and Susan LAMANSKY, Fairfield; two brothers, James A. LAMANSKY, Boise, Idaho, and Donald LAMANSKY, Davenport.

Also her mother, Kasylda LAMANSHY (sp: LAMANSKY), Brighton, and her grandmother, Mrs. Rose PECK, East Pleasant Plain.

Mrs. EDWARDS was preceded in death by her father and a five-month old son.

Admin. note: Husband Norman died in 1995 and is buried with her. The son they lost was Randall Lee EDWARDS, in May, 1956.
