Fatally Hurt in Accident

Lewis Eugene LINT II, 19, died late Monday afternoon in a Redwood City, Calif., hospital from injuries he received in a car accident Monday morning.

Lint was the son of the Rev. and Mrs. Lewis E. LINT of 1340 Fernside, Redwood City, Calif., former area residents. Rev. Lint was minister for several years at the Libertyville Bethesda and Mount Zion churches.

Lint is survived by his parents; three sisters, Victoria ZUCK of Billings, Mont., and Sherri BLOUGH of Fairfield; a grandmother, Mrs. LaDena CHRISTENSEN of Des Moines.

Admin. note: It is possible the date of the newspaper is incorrect; it was hand-written in a scrapbook and not the printed date of the newspaper title line. The CA Death Index (1940-1997) on Ancestry shows a Lewis E. LINT who was _born_ February 7, 1958, in Iowa, and died _Sept._ 5, 1977, in Santa Clara, CA. Additionally, the SSDI lists a Lewis LINT born Feb. 7, 1958, and died September, 1977 (no day given). We do not have a record of his burial in Jefferson County. Also see an obituary on this message board for Leo LINT who died in 2000 - Leo lists Sheri BLOUGH of Fairfield as a sister, and I believe he may have been omitted from this obituary unintentionally as a surviving brother.
