Mrs. CLARK Dies At 83

BATAVIA - Beulah W. CLARK, 83, died Tuesday at 9:15 a.m. at Jefferson County Hospital. She had been in failing health for six months.

Mrs. CLARK was born July 19, 1892 at Conway, the daughter of John and Mildred DOVENSPIKE LONG. On March 16, 1916 she married Thomas CLARK, who died Dec. 7, 1957. She lived most of her life in the Batavia community. Her home was southeast of Batavia on Route 1.

Surviving are two daughters, Roma E. HUNT of E. St. Louis, Ill., and Mrs. Fairy WICH of Ottumwa; one son, Ralph B. CLARK of Route 2, Batavia; 16 grandchildren; four great-grandsons; one great-granddaughter and one grandson in the service. One son and two brothers preceded Mrs. CLARK in death.

Funeral services will be Friday, 11 a.m., at Behner Funeral Home with the Rev. J.E. Dorman officaiting. Burial will be in Abingdon Cemetery.
