Service For W. HEADLEY

Services for Mrs. Winnie E. HEADLEY, Fairfield Route 4, will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Behner Funeral Home. She was 85.

Mrs. Headley was found dead Monday morning. The Jefferson County medical examiner placed the time of her death at about 6 a.m.

Last rites will be conducted by the Rev. Wayne L. Bartruff with burial in Memorial Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Wednesday from 7 to 8 p.m.

Mrs. Headley was born Dec. 23, 1891 at Galesburg, Ill., the daughter of Emil and Mary PETERSON AHLGREN. She was married May 8, 1916 to Howard HEADLEY. He died March 19, 1965.

Mrs. Headley has lived in this community for 39 years. She was a member of the United Methodist Church.

Surviving are the following children: Lester "Bud" HEADLEY, Fairfield; Phyllis STISSER, Wyoming, Ill.; Virginia ZEIER, Clarksville, Tenn.; June CHEZUM, Knoxville, Ill.; and Ferne WICKLIFF, Fairfield Route 1.

Also surviving are 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. One sister, three brothers and one son are deceased.
