Gary D. DLOUHY

Gary D. DLOUHY, 48, of the Good Samaritan Center in Keosauqua, died at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 31, 2002, at the Van Buren County Hospital and Clinics from complications of multiple sclerosis.

The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at Raymond Funeral Home, with the Rev. Jack Jackson officiating. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery (note: in Fairfield, IA).

The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. A memorial has been established in his name to Keosauqua Good Samaritan Center, Multiple Sclerosis Association or to the charity of the donor's choice.

Mr. DLOUHY was born Aug. 9, 1953, in Fairfield, the son of Robert B. Bertie Lou KING DLOUHY.

He graduated from the Fairfield High School in 1971 and lived most of his life in the Fairfield area. He was employed at Dexter for several years before moving to Coffeyville, Kan., and working at Acme foundry until his illness, at which time he returned to Fairfield.

Survivors include his mother and stepfather Bertie DAVIDSON and Carl of Fairfield; two daughters Jessica of Joplin, Mo., and Abby of Miami, Okla.; three grandsons; three sisters, Dee SPEES of Birmingham, Pat DAVIS of Batavia and Penny EKLUND of Libertyville; and two brothers, Bob DLOUHY of Atlanta, Ga., and Dick DLOUHY of Sumter, S.C.

He was preceded in death by his father.
