Lee 'Marlon' MALLONEE

Lee "Marlon" MALLONEE, 42, died of a heart attack Sunday, April 19, 1998, in Dana, N.C.

Funeral service was held April 22 in Hendersonville, N.C. His family's address is P.O. Box 446, Dana, N.C. 28724.

Mr. Mallonee was born in Fairfield, the son of Jason and Fern MALLONEE. He graduated from high school in Oskaloosa. He was employed at Ron's Jack and Jill and G and L Industries in Oskaloosa. He later moved to Fairfield and worked at the Dexter Co. and Plexico.

He moved to Hendersonville area and married Debbie RUGGLES. He worked at Barclay Machine and Tool in Hendersonville. He was completing his training with the Hendersonville County Sheriff's Department and was a solo officer in that department.

Survivors include his wife; three sons, Travis, Luke and Ryan; one daughter, Leeann; one grandson; his mother of Ottumwa; two sisters, Judi BROBSTON of Libertyville and Marla MILLS of Ottumwa; two brothers, Mark of San Francisco, and Jerry of Denmark, Iowa; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
