Willard LeRoy OGDEN

Willard LeRoy OGDEN, 77, of Sebastopol, Calif., died at 1 a.m. Monday, May 4, 1998, at Palm Drive Hospital in Sebastopol. He had been in failing health.

A memorial service will be held Thursday morning at the Christian church in Sebastopol. Burial will be at a later date following cremation. Memorials for his church can be sent to Lillian OGDEN, 594 Cleveland Ave., Sebastopol, Calif. 95472.

Mr. OGDEN was born July 12, 1920, in Fairfield, the son of Logan H. and Edith RODGERS OGDEN. He married Lillian VANDEVER June 24, 1973, in Sebastopol.

He lived most of his life in California. He graduated from Fairfield High School in 1938. Before he left Fairfield for the U.S. Army, he worked at the Myer's Furniture Store. He was furniture department manager for the Western Auto Supply Co. and later sold carpet on the road in the California area.

Survivors include his wife; one son, Dwaine of Indianapolis; two stepchildren, Galen and Diane; five stepgrandchildren; three brothers, Lyndon of Ashton, Ill., Robert of Fairfield and John of Bodega Bay, Calif.; and two sisters, Lelah RAIN of Johnston and Edythe GRABY of Fairfield.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his stepfather, Earl AUGUST.
