Wednesday, February 24, 1965 - Page 8Fred L. KELLER, 85, lifelong resident of Jefferson county, died early today at the Rest Haven home in Ottumwa. He had been seriously ill for six weeks.
Services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the Raymond Funeral home in charge of the Rev. Ned C. Gillum. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.
A retired farmer, KELLER lived five miles south of Fairfield. He was born Jan. 19, 1880 in Jefferson county, the son of Edward and Mary DROZ KELLER. He was reared in Cedar township, attending Ankrom school. He was married to Olive CROWNER Feb. 24, 1903. She preceded him in death in 1937.
Keller was a charger member of the IOOF lodge. He is survived by the following children: Lawrence F. KELLER and Glen K. KELLER, Fairfield; Verne W. KELLER and Mrs. Lawrence BAGBY, Birmingham.
Also surviving are four grandchildren, four great grandchildren, one brother, Jesse KELLER, Fairfield; and one sister, Mrs. Clementine HUDGELL, Grand Forks, N.D. Three sisters and one brother are deceased.
