Darrell L. DAVISSON

Darrell L. DAVISSON, 54, native of Jefferson County, died at 6:45 p.m. Sunday at the Jefferson County Hospital where he had been a patient 1 1/2 days. His death followed an extended illness.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Behner Funeral Home with the Rev. Edward Parker and the Rev. Jim Cecil officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Darrell L. DAVISSON was born June 13, 1929, in Jefferson County. He was the son of Burl and Hazel EVANS DAVISSON. His marriage to Patricia Ann GILBERT took place Nov. 6, 1949, in Jefferson County. She survives.

In addition to his widow DAVISSON is survived by his mother, Hazel DAVISSON, Fairfield, three daughters, Sue ROBINSON, Packwood; Carol HOOTMAN, Douds; Diane DAVISSON, Fairfield; and a son, Brian DAVISSON, Fairfield.

Other survivors include six grandchildren, one sister, Wilma SCHULTZ; and a brother Eugene DAVISSON, Fairfield.

DAVISSON had lived most of his life in Jefferson County. He was a farmer and had worked 20 years as a welder at Fairfield Aluminum Castings Co. in Fairfield.

He was a member of the Eagles Lodge (sic - Aerie) and International Molders and Allied Workers Union 159. The family home is at 803 W. Fillmore.
