Faith Opal HARRISON

Faith Opal HARRISON, 91, of Parkview Care Center died at 10:05 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 18, 1997, at Jefferson County Hospital.

The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Behner Funeral Home with the Rev. Kenneth Royar officiating. Burial will be in Abingdon Cemetery in Abingdon. Family visitation will be from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials should be made to Jefferson County Hospital Auxiliary, Parkview Care Center or Home Health Aide Services.

Ms. Harrison was born Nov. 28, 1906, in Polk Township of Jefferson County, the daughter of Walter Hugh and Mary Scott MOWERY HARRISON, Sr.

She lived all her life in the Fairfield community, graduating from Fairfield High School. She had worked for Spurgeon Mercantile Company for 40 years and had worked for Walker's Office Supplies.

Survivors include one brother, Walter "Sam" of Fairfield; and many nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, L. Blanche Copeland and Viola D. Salts; and four brothers, Edward D., W. Harold, Fred E. and Denver O.
