Sarah "Tine" HARRISON, 85, 1103 S. Main St., died at 10:20 a.m. Tuesday, March 22, 1994, at Jefferson County Hospital.
The service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Free Methodist Church with the Rev. J. Garth Betry and the Rev. George Koch officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Family visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Behner Funeral Home. A memorial has been established to Free Methodist Church.
Mrs. HARRISON was born Oct. 8, 1908, in Fairfield, the daughter of William A. and Ada B. HOUGH BAILEY. On Aug. 4, 1929, she married William Harold HARRISON in Faifield. A resident of Fairfield community most of her life, she was a homemaker and a bookkeeper at Harrison's D-X Service Station, retiring in 1972. She was the senior member of Free Methodist Church, the church's treasurer for 26 years, was a member of Jefferson County Hospital Auxiliary and a life-member of WML.
Surviving are her husband; a daughter, Marilyn CROSS of Des Moines; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Six sisters, Minnie, Alberta, Juanita, Margaret, Frances, Lillian, and a brother, Clarence, preceded her in death.
