CORWIN VAN DYKE DIED WEDNESDAY

Corp. Corwin VAN DYKE died here about five o'clock yesterday afternoon from the effects of his injuries received while stepping off a moving train at Perlee. He was brought to the Jefferson County Hospital last Friday.

Mr. VAN DYKE has a son and other relatives in Kansas City, but no word as yet has been received from them and no arrangements have been made for funeral.

Mr. VAN DYKE was about sixty years of age and a veteran of the Civil war, being a corporal of Co. H, Second Iowa Infantry.
