Danny E. TRAUTWEIN, 48, custodian at Washington School for the past nine years, died of a heart attack Saturday morning.

He was transferred from the Jefferson County Hospital to University Hospitals in Iowa City by air care helicopter where he died at 11:17 a.m.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the First Christian Church with the Rev. Charles Kincaid officiating. Burial will be at 2 p.m. in the Chariton Cemetery at Chariton.

The family will receive friends this evening from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Raymond Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Heart Fund.

Danny E. TRAUTWEIN was born June 17, 1936, in Iowa City. He was the son of Alvin and Hazel PERRY TRAUTWEIN. He graduated from the Fairfield High School with the Class of 1954.

He married Margaret GILMAN June 17, 1973, at Auburn, Wash. They have made their home in Fairfield for the past ten years. The family home is at 1300 W. Jackson.

He was a military veteran and had served in the Iowa National Guard. He was a member of the First Christian Church where he served as a Deacon.

TRAUTWEIN is survived by his widow; four daughters, Vicque COPELAND, Kansas City, Mo.; Deanne, Jacksonville, Fla.; Brenda and Angela, both at home; and his mother, Hazel TRAUTWEIN, Fairfield. He was preceded in death by his father.
