Friday, November 5, 1976T. PREVETT Dies At 74
Theodore Edward "Ted" PREVETT, 74, died at 12:45 p.m. Thursday at the Jefferson County Hospital. The family home is at 202 1/2 N. Ninth.
Services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Foursquare Church with the Rev. Donald Hickman officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
The casket will be taken to the church from the Raymond Funeral Home at noon Saturday.
Theodore E. PREVETT was born June 8, 1902, West Plains, Mo., the son of George Washington and Cynthia MORRIS PREVETT. He was engaged in construction work all of his life.
He was married Dec. 24, 1933, to Laura Marie MOORE at Peace Valley, Mo. She died Oct. 7, 1973 (sic - October 9th, per her gravestone).
He is survived by five sons: Clinton, Riddle, Oregon; George, Hillsboro; Ted, Jr., and Glen, both of Ottumwa; and Kenneth, Salem; five daughters, Mrs. Violet OSWALT, High Amana; Mrs. Mary ANDERSON, Livermore, Calif.; Mrs. Esther HUTTON, and Mrs. Sharon KOCH, both of Fairfield; and Mrs. Kathryn WARD, Riddle, Oregon; and 27 grandchildren.
Also one sister, Sally PAYNE, Tulare, Calif.; two brothers, George, Pomona, Calif., and James, Eureka, Calif.
PREVETT was preceded in death by his wife, one son, and one grandchild.
