Clifford GLASGOW, 74, of Marshalltown, former Libertyville and Fairfield resident, died Wednesday afternoon at his home.
Funeral services will be Friday, 10 a.m., at Central Christian Church in Marshalltown followed by graveside services at 2:30 p.m. at Fell Cemetery in Libertyville with the Rev. J.E. Dorman officiating. The body is at Purcell-Davis Funeral Home in Marshalltown.
Glasgow was born Dec. 23, 1902, near Libertyville, the son of Ira and Lucy GLASGOW. On March 27, 1940 he married Laura HODGE. She survives.
Also surviving are two sisters, Grace and Katherine GLASGOW, both of Fairfield. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
Glasgow was raised and educated in Fairfield where he attended Parsons College. He moved to Marshalltown in 1943 and had been retired since 1968. He was a member of Central Christian Church, Central Iowa Ornithologists of Marshalltown and Iowa Ornithologists Union.
