Mark Leonard CAMPBELL

MOUNT PLEASANT - Mark Leonard CAMPBELL, 22, Mount Pleasant, died at 12:20 p.m. Sunday, March 13, 1994, at his apartment.

The service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield with the Rev. Richard Wallarab officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. The casket will be closed. Friends may begin calling to sign the register on Tuesday morning at the funeral home, where the family will be present from 7 to 8 that night. Memorials may be made to the donor's choice or to the family.

CAMPBELL was born Aug. 13, 1971, in Fairfield, the son of Jerry D. and Marcene FERREL CAMPBELL. He graduated from Fairfield High School in 1989. He had been employed in the receiving department at Wal-Mart Distributing Warehouse in Mount Pleasant for 4 1/2 years.

Surviving are his parents, Jerry D. and stepmother Dee CAMPBELL, Marcene and stepfather Robert McCARTY, all of Fairfield; grandmothers, Oneta CAMPBELL of Washington, Iowa, Wilda FERRREL of Fairfield; stepgrandmother, Pearl McCARTY of Douds; a sister, Tina CAMPBELL of Des Moines; three stepbrothers, Tony McCARTY of Fairfield, Lee McCARTY of Phoenix, Mike MOORE of Grand Rapids, Mich.; three stepsisters, Diana KRAMER of Washington, Renee REBLING of Lockridge, and Anne MOORE of Ames. Two grandfathers and a stepgrandfather preceded him in death.
