NELSON Dies In Florida

Albert L. NELSON, 71, former Libertyville banker, died Saturday afternoon, Oct. 16 at New Port Richey, Fla. He had been ill about two weeks.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 20 at Weston Behner Funeral Home with the Rev. Wayne L. Bartruff officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Nelson was bron to John and Tillie SMITH NELSON at Galesburg, Ill., on Sept. 2, 1905. He married Jennie CARMICHAEL at Fairfield on May 17, 1931. She survives and is making her headquarters in Fairfield at the home of her brother, Ralph CARMICHAEL, 504 E. Adams.

Mr. NELSON had worked in a bank and as an auditor for over 45 years before his retirement. The couple has lived in Florida the past two years. He had served as auditor at the National Bank and Trust Co., in South Bend, Ind. He was a member of the New Port Richey Methodist Church.

Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 7:30 to 9 at the funeral home.
