MRS. RISK DIED IN AURORA

Last night at 11 O’Clock; Body Here Tonight And Funeral Wednesday at 10

Mrs. C. C. RISK, 504 East Burlington street, who went to Aurora, Ill., over 4 weeks ago for a visit at the home of her sister Mrs. W. H. WINSER, passed away there last night at 11 o’clock after an illness, starting with an attack of grippe, while on her visit.

The body will be brought to this city tonight and funeral services will be held from the RISK home Wednesday morning at 10 o’clock. Burial will take place in Evergreen cemetery. Her niece Mrs. J. H. MONTGOMERY was called there yesterday afternoon by her illness and will accompany the body here.

Mrs. RISK was formerly Miss Agnes HOPKINS, the daughter of Elijah and Elizabeth HOPKINS and was born Jan. 26, 1856 at Oswego, Ill. She was married to James S. RICHARDSON, Jan. 5, 1887 and he passed away a few years later (sic. October 12, 1892). She was married in Fairfield Oct. 22, 1896 to Charles C. RISK who died here on Sept. 9, 1927.

Note: Buried in Evergreen cemetery, Fairfield, Iowa. Old.P.221. Buried on same plot as her second husband Charles C Risk and his first wife Sarah J. TOWNSEND RISK. Her first husband, James S. RICHARDSON, is buried in Old.P.327 with two of his siblings.
