Word has been received here of the death of Bernard K. MURPHY, 66, native of Fairfield who died Friday at his home in Oakdale.
Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Iowa City. He had willed his body to the University Hospital in Iowa City.
He was born in Fairfield, the son of John Francis and Kathryn Elizabeth MURPHY and attended schools in Fairfield.
Survivors include two brothers, Robert, Fairfield, and Clifford, Corralville; and a sister, Bernice McGUIRE, Scottsdale, Ariz.
