Ted KANN services Friday

Edward R. (Ted) KANN, 94, 203 E. Kirkwood, died at 8:25 p.m. Tuesday at Jefferson County Hospital. He would have been 95 today.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Raymond Funeral Home with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials may be left at the funeral home.

KANN was born Feb. 10, 1887 in Jefferson County, the son of John and Mary FLINSPACH KANN. He was reared and educated in Jefferson County and lived his entire life in the Fairfield community. He was a farmer and cattleman until retiring and moving to Fairfield in 1951. On Feb. 26, 1915 in Mr. Pleasant, he married Flossie MIKSH (sic - MIKSCH), who died in 1930. On Nov. 26, 1931 he married Mae (sic - Rosa Mae)WEHR in Moline, Ill. She survives.

Also surviving are a son, Daryl of Fairfield; two daughters, Wilma MILLER of Denver, Colo., and Reithel RICE of Keota; five grandchildren; two brothers, Harry and Ralph, both of Fairfield.

He was a 60-year member of First United Methodist Church and a member of Keep Young Club.
