“Mrs. Martha Pringle died yesterday afternoon. Her husband, L. Wilson Pringle preceded her in death just one month ago yesterday. Remains will be taken to McDowell Chapel. Martha J. Harken, daughter of Peter and Mary Harken, born in Jefferson County Jan 29 1851…..Children &c…..”

“Mrs. L. W. Pringle died Thurs. afternoon at her home in Fairfield. Cancer. Maiden name Miss Mattie Harken…..5 children survive. McDowell.”
