“L. W. Pringle dropped dead…..CW 30th Iowa. Bur. McDowell Cemetery.”

“L. W. Pringle died Wed. at Fairfield. Heart trouble. Born Apr 24 1841 in Keokuk County; married in the same neighborhood Miss Mattie Harken who survives with 5 children. Loved on a farm on the county line n.w. of Pleasant Plain until ten years ago when they moved to Fairfield. Mrs. Lilllis Hicks of Brighton is a sister of deceased. Children are Mrs. Myrtle Kendall and Porter Pringle of Twin Falls, Idaho, Walter of Ollie, Brice of Brighton and Mrs. Maida Mitchell (married Lloyd M.) of Packwood. Funeral and burial, McDowell Chapel”’
