PACKWOOD - Mrs. Eliza Jane SPANIER, 82, died Wednesday, 12:45 p.m., at Parkview Care Center.
The daughter of George P. and Susanna GILBERT CAVIN, Mrs. SPANIER was born Dec. 10, 1894 in Church Hill, Tenn. She married Jake SPANIER on Aug. 10, 1913. He preceded her in death Aug. 23, 1960.
Mrs. Spanier was a member of the Packwood Christian Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. George (Maggie) TALLEY of Richland and Mrs. Theresia SHY of Bartonville, Ill.; two sons, Everett SPANIER of Packwood and Robert of Bellfair, Wash.; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.
Three sisters, Mrs. Fanny GREINER and Mrs. Addie MITCHELL, both of Brighton; and Mrs. Nancy GREINER of Fairfield; three brothers, Oliver CAVIN of Rogersville, Tenn., Ralph CAVIN of Mount Pleasant and Gilbert of Washington.
Three sisters, five brothers and one great-grandchild preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be Friday, 2 p.m., at Gould Funeral Home in Richland with the Rev. Donald Harbour officiating. Burial will be in Packwood Cemetery.
