M. SCHROEDER rites Monday

Last rites for Mary A. SCHROEDER, 81, Agency, will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the First Lutheran Church with the Rev. Keith Lingwall officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Mrs. SCHROEDER died at 7:40 p.m. Thursday at the Jefferson County Hospital. She had been ill for the past seven days.

Mrs. SCHROEDER was born Jan. 2, 1901, in Glendale, the daughter of Charles August and Christine HANSEN BLOOMQUIST. She was married Aug. 4, 1945, in Fairfield to George W. SCHROEDER. He died March 10, 1979.

She lived most of her life in the Agency and Libertyville areas and she was a member of the First Lutheran Church and the American Legion Auxiliary.

Survivors include two sons, three daughters and three step children. They include the following: Craig D. HEADLEY, Ottumwa; Robert C. HEADLEY, Peoria, Ill.; Katheryne TURNDAHL, Apple Valley, Calif.; Edith CONNER, Des Moines; Eva GOODWIN, Horseshoe Bend, Ark.; stepchildren, Janan NIXSON and Jean SIX, both of Fairfield; and Pat DESPAIN, Mendota, Minn.

The following brothers and sisters also survive: Ida PAYNE, Carl BLOOMQUIST, Bert BLOOMQUIST all of Fairfield; Mike BLOOMQUIST, Agency; Jess BLOOMQUIST, Ottumwa; John BLOOMQUIST, Birmingham; Teckla WELLS, Agency; Earl BLOOMQUIST, Agency; Eva SPEER, Agency; and Bob BLOOMQUIST, Baldwinsville, N. Y.

Other survivors include 19 granchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Schroeder was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.

Admin. note: Mary was first married to Perry A. HEADLEY who died in 1931; she is buried in Lot 2nd.266 with him. Her second husband George is buried with his first wife, Gladys May NORRIS SCHROEDER, elsewhere in Evergreen Cemetery.
