DEATH OF SAMUEL SCOTT WALKER, in Bartow, Florida. (He married Sarah Ann ALLEN, daughter of William and Elizabeth (TILFORD)ALLEN.) They were the parents of ten children. The third child, a son named Cyrus Allen WALKER, was born in Jefferson County, Iowa, Sept. 22, 1836. He enlisted in Co. L, 9th Iowa Cav. Reg., in Lucas County, Iowa.)

.... "About 1852 Samuel Scott WALKER moved to Lucas County, Iowa with his family, where he bought a farm between Chariton and Knoxville. He continued to live there for several years and then removed to Dexter, Kansas, where he lived until the death of his wife, Sarah Ann. He then went to live with his daughter, Mrs. George SMITH of Bartow, Florida, where he remained until his death.
