LUNDQUIST Rites Set

Mrs. Ferne LUNDQUIST, 76, died suddenly Saturday evening at her home at 205 S. Main. She had been in failing health the past year.

The funeral will be Thursday at 2 p.m., at the Behner Funeral Home with interment in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. Memorials are to chariteis of one's choice.

Mrs. LUNQUIST was born Dec. 13, 1900 in Jefferson County, the daughter of William and Chloe CORNELL MILLER. On Aug. 11, 1920, she was married to Arthur J. LUNDQUIST. He died Oct. 10, 1939.

Mr. LUNDQUIST was engaged in the insurance business in Fairfield for many years. Mrs. LUNDQUIST continued to operate his business for 12 years after his death.

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and a lifetime resident of Faifield and Jefferson County.

She is surived by three sons, Arthur W. LUNDQUIST at home, Leland L. LUNDQUIST of Bay Pines, Fla., and Floyd B. LUNDQUIST of Los Alamitos, Calif.; one foster son, John A. CRAWFORD of Iowa City, six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
