Albert S. EDDY rites Monday

Albert S. EDDY, 73, resident of Logan Apartments, died at 5:55 p.m. Thursday at the Jefferson County Hospital.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the Raymond Funeral Home with the Rev. Carl Riggs officiating. Burial will be in Wright Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Lung Association.

Albert S. EDDY was born Oct. 7, 1911, near Milan, M. He was the son of Williamd and Ada SHATTO EDDY. His marriage to Alice PAXTON took place Sept. 11, 1937, in Milan. She died July 15, 1983.

He was reared and educated in Milan. He had lived in the Packwood, Birmingham and Fairfield communities since 1950. He retired in 1965.

Survivors include a daughter, Kathy COOPER, Rose Hill; two sons, William, Avinger, Texas, and Jack, Packwood.

Also seven grandchildren; a sister, Jessie HEMM, Birmingham; and a brother, James, Oskaloosa.

In addition to his wife Eddy was preceded in death by two children, two brothers and a sister.
